Whitney Corning

Whitney was born and raised in Canada, where she graduated from the University of Calgary with a degree in Health Sciences. Her specialization was in Psychology and Health & Society. Her passion has always resided in health and illness, along with other personal and social determinants that effect a person’s health.

Alongside and after her study, Whitney worked to help support Calgary’s homeless and vulnerable populations, and eventually started a non-profit organizaton to further assist these individuals.

In 2014, Whitney moved to Amsterdam to complete a degree in Physiotherapy. After graduating she was too taken by Amsterdam’s beauty to move back to Calgary, so she stayed, started a family, and began The Physio Boutique.

She enjoys helping people with postural complaints, chronic and stubborn issues, sporting injuries, rehabilitation and preventive therapy, as well as personal training. She takes pride in understanding her patients as a whole, and tries to encourage lifestyle changes that lead to long-term solutions.
